জীবনে প্রাপ্তি আর পূর্নতার এ-ই দুয়ের
অর্থ বোঝা বড্ড কঠিন হয়ে যায় যখন,
নিজের কাছে নিজের বিলুপ্ত মস্তিষ্কের
স্নায়ুকোষ সরাসরি আঘাত করে।
অর্থবহ পরিবর্তনে প্রভাব পরেছে
একটা ছবির আবির্ভাবে।
তবে কি সেই আমি আর এই তুমি
একি ভূখণ্ডের জাতিগোষ্ঠীর দুটি,
আলাদা প্রতিবিম্ব ছিলাম যাদের
জীবনের হিসাবের খাতা বড্ড নড়বড়ে।
সময়ে কিংবা অসময়ে অতি ক্ষুদ্র
গহীন অন্ধকারের আশঙ্কা আছে,
যেনেও তুমি যে পথে নিয়মিত
গন্তব্য অতিক্রমের আশায়ে
বিভোর থাকো আমি সে পথের সন্ধান
পেয়ে গেছি তাই হয়তবা তোমার কাছে
আমি সংকৃণ হয়ে বাঁচি।
